You’ll play a direct role in keeping our rides operating safely, reliably and efficiently while supporting a passionate team.
Reporting to the Technical Supervisor at Méga Parc, your mission will be to coordinate the technical team’s activities, act as a technical resource and actively contribute to the maintenance, repair and upkeep of rides and attractions, while ensuring their safety, compliance and performance.
What you’ll do
• Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to rides and attractions.
• Perform and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic failures and participate in the required repairs.
• Read and interpret plans related to mechanical systems, construction and equipment.
• Participate in planning and tracking preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Respond quickly to technical emergencies to minimize operational interruptions.
• Participate in the technical maintenance of the skating rink and related equipment, when required (training provided on site).
• Use manual welding or oxy-fuel cutting equipment to carry out required work on metal components.
• Participate in facility and building maintenance, including minor repairs and painting.
• Maintain rides in accordance with CSA Z267 and ASTM standards (training provided on site).
Leadership and operations
• Lead, motivate and support the technical team on a daily basis.
• Act as a technical resource and point of reference for technicians.
• Assign tasks and ensure the smooth execution of daily operations.
• Participate in the onboarding, training and development of team members.
• Foster a positive, safe and customer-service-oriented work environment.
• Prepare and oversee the technical team’s schedules.
• Keep maintenance logs, intervention reports, inspection records and compliance follow-ups up to date.
• Manage and monitor the department’s inventory of parts, tools and supplies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of procedures, work methods and maintenance practices.
What you bring
• DEP or DEC in industrial mechanics, electromechanics or a related field.
• Relevant experience in mechanical, industrial or electromechanical maintenance.
• Experience managing or coordinating a team (strong asset).
• Excellent problem-solving and technical diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems.
• Good command of standard computer tools.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Mobilizing leadership, autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Team spirit, collaboration, rigour and professionalism.
• Solution-oriented mindset and a strong commitment to safety and customer experience.

Compensation and benefits
• Permanent full-time position, 37.5 hours per week.
